- Imported KWPN Star mare-- Ferro x Calburga (Pretendant x Farn)
ANCESTORS

- Jal's sire Olympic Ferro finished 6th in the 1999 World
Championships and medaled at the 2002 Olympics.
- Ulft, her paternal
grand sire proved his exceptional versatility by his enormous show
jumping talent as well as his impressive dressage qualities and has
many approved sons.

Pretendent, her maternal grand sire is a Keur stallion with both Grand
Prix jumpers and dressage horses to his credit.
- At the 1994 NAWPN Keurings Jalburga was rated First of all the Star Mares in North
America.
- She is a CWHBA approved broodmare.
- Jal scored 10 for gaits from the German judge Mr. Manfred Lopp at
her CWHBA Mare Evaluation.
- Jalburga was Grand Champion in hand.
- She was also a winner in Dressage and Horse Trials.
- Jal won her class and produced the High Score of the show in her first Dressage competition.

She was given a First Premium for her CWHBA Mare Test (under saddle and free jumping)
- Jal has a kind, loving disposition and no task is too difficult.
- Her 1998 foal, LAIRD won his class and went on to win the Junior
Championship at the Breeders' Classic.
- Jal has four other foals. CHABLIS was a winner in hand and a
broodmare. Marvel, an embryo transfer foal, is a custom breeding for
Dove Creek Farm, Lawrence and Lorna Doone.
- In 2000 MARVEL was the Hi-score mare for Canada for the CWHBA
- Jalburga's 2001 foal, LAWRENCE, is a super colt who is owned
by Huntleigh Equestrian Centre in Ontario.

In 2005 Lawrence won his 4 yr old materiel classes at
the Ottawa Spring Classic, with awsome comments from the judges. He also
was Training level Champion at the Blainville CDI with a top score of
76.9%.

His next show the Blaneville CDI and National he was
Open Training Champion with 3 scores in the 70's the top one a 76.9%
- Jalburga's latest 2002
edition is a black filly that we have named LORNA DOONE. Lorna sports
3 half stockings and very nice markings on her face.

PROGENY
- Kat has 5 Lynx foals, pictured here they are, LADYHAWKE, LEGATO,
LUCINDA, LEES and LOCKET.
- LEGATO has been competing as a hunter, jumper and
Medal horse and winning in all these divisions in 2005.
- LUCINDA won her first competition as a two year old in 2001. She has been to another competition in
2002 where she won three Championships including Grand Champion of show.

LEES was sold as a stallion prospect, is residing in Bermuda and is now a
Champion under saddle.

LOCKET is shown here in 2005 as a 3 year old on her first ride.

ANCESTORS

Argus, her paternal grand sire, competed at the FEI level in both show
jumping and dressage. He produced many top placed young horses in N A
and Europe, including 4 out of the top 10 in 1990.

Pion, Kira's grand sire has a high place in both the dressage and
jumper index. He is the father of International dressage horse Aktion
and many International jumpers. As of 1992 he had 6 approved sons.

Kira's mother line traces back to the famous lines of Sinaeda and
Sportsman.
- She is a CWHBA approved broodmare.
- Kira has a very steady and dependable personality.
- At her CWHBA Mare Evaluation she scored 9 for gaits from the well
respected judge from Germany, Mr. Manfred
Lopp.
- Her 1998 foal, LALIQUE, won the CWHBA Foal Futurity for her owner
Elisabeth Rooney. Her 1995 colt, LIRA was a Futurity winner in 1996
for his owner Nicole Mitchell. He has since begun a career in the
Dressage arena with many good wins.
- Kira's 3rd Lynx foal, LORE, (1997) owned by Joanne Barbeau, won
his way to the Grand Championship at the 1999 Breeders Classic. Lore
was ridden to the Championship at his first Dressage Competition by
his amateur owner with scores in the 70%.Lore has continued his
winning ways picking up several "9's"and another Res. Championship in
his first competition in 2003. Lore scored more 9's and
won other Championships in 2003.
- Her fourth foal, LEGEND is another
very special black colt.
- Loretta is her fifth foal and Lyncoln her
sixth. These young horses continue to impress all who see them.
