LEES -- Sold to Germany to be prepared for the 2012 Olympic Games. More info to come. 2007 COLT -- Believe was born on Sat May 14 2007. He was the BC Sport Horse Fall Classic Futurity winner for colts and geldings as well as the Jr. Reserve Champion for Dressage Suitability. We are told that he has a great temperament as well as being very fancy.
NEWS FROM MAYME HAUSMAN AND LEGEND IN OHIO Legend is doing really well. We are working on changes in tempo
within all o f the gaits, softening his canter and moving into lateral
work. All of which he is a natural. I am so very proud of him. As
always he is magnificent. I'm just a proud mom. I wanted to share our
first show experience (from October) with you. He was fabulous and
really enjoyed the entire experience. Even though I rode him a little
reserved and relaxed, we received 2 firsts and a grand champion. Not bad
for a baby at his first show. We had the ISR/Oldenburg inspection today in Spanaway, WA. Our Lynx
foal Luna was inspected and she was named the Champion of the
inspection!!! She had a score of 8.4!! She was just beautiful -
during her trot, the spectators hushed, she was so lovely. She
rivaled any of the foals you might see on the east coast! To top it
all off she is a real trooper. She stood nicely for her first bath,
first clipping, and first braiding. She got into the trailer and rode
very well.
What a lovely legacy for Lynx! We will be keeping Luna to breed and show.
Thanks so much for all you've given us with Lynx. I will have some pictures
of the inspection in a few days, I'll send you a couple of the best.
